Cucuy Nights is Dallas's only culturally rooted haunted attraction — drawing from indigenous and Latino mythology to build scares that mean something. Founded by HFX Guild in 2023, every corridor, every character, and every scare is grounded in a living mythology your grandparents warned you about.
Cucuy Nights began in 2023 with its first haunted attraction produced in partnership with the Shriners in Garland, Texas. The project evolved from years of home haunt development and a growing passion for immersive storytelling and practical effects. The long-term vision is to evolve from a traditional haunted attraction into a destination-style haunt incorporating culturally inspired characters and storytelling elements over a multi-year timeline.

Step into the dark history of The Legend of The Four, the haunting main narrative of Cucuy Nights. Set in 1940s Los Angeles amid the chaos of the Zoot Suit Riots, a tragic family celebration turns into a nightmare when Espe—one of four Mexican-American siblings—mysteriously vanishes, leaving only her signature cane behind on a ceremonial throne. Marked by unearned suffering, quiet authority, and fractured memories, the four siblings are forever bound by her disappearance as forgotten trauma transforms into a living myth. Born from the chilling core truth that *"they come when fear is left unresolved,"* this immersive story brings cultural history, family tragedy, and atmospheric dread face-to-face with anyone brave enough to enter.
