Where It All Began

Cucuy Nights began in 2023 with its first haunted attraction produced in partnership with the Shriners in Garland, Texas. The project evolved from years of home haunt development and a growing passion for immersive storytelling and practical effects.

HFX Guild is the creative engine behind Cucuy Nights — a culturally rooted haunted attraction brand drawing from indigenous and Latino mythology, and the developing home of Legend of the Four, an original multi-generational horror narrative.

Built for the Long Haul

The long-term vision is to evolve from a traditional haunted attraction into a destination-style haunt incorporating culturally inspired characters and storytelling elements over a multi-year timeline.

What started as a seasonal scare experience is becoming something larger — a year-round home for Latino horror mythology, original characters, and stories that resonate with the 1.3 million Latino residents of the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Cucuy Nights exists to give our community a haunt that belongs to them.

Why Cucuy Nights Is Different

Cookie-cutter Texas haunts offer the same fog machine and jump scare formula. Cucuy Nights was built from a different tradition — one rooted in culture, craft, and an obsession with leaving guests genuinely unsettled.
